2025 Fundraising Highlights
Thanks to the generosity of our fans and the dedication of our team, 2025 was another incredible year for CHKD:
$455,000 raised for CHKD
$378,000 in Round Up donations from more than 816,000 individual contributions
$10,483 raised on Free Cone Day, our biggest year ever with more than 10,000 cones dipped
$8,047 donated on Miracle Treat Day from more than 8,000 Blizzards, with support from partners like GEICO and USAA
$42,000 donated by our team members through payroll giving
These results wouldn’t be possible without the passion of our crewmembers and the incredible support of the communities we serve. Together, we’re working toward our goal of raising $5,000,000 for the kids at CHKD by 2030.

Every year we mark the beginning of Spring by offering all customers a Free Small Cone at Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen locations.
We also invite DQ® fans to donate $1 to the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and return the favor with their favorite dip flavor!
In 2024, Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen served over 27,000 cones and raised over $10,000 for the kids at CHKD!
Miracle Treat Day 2025 was HUGE success! We started the day with an unexpected surprise, a $1 match for every Blizzard sold by Humble Hearts Foundation. We sold over 8,000 Blizzards and collected nearly $1,823 in spare change donations. Total donations for the kids at CHKD were $17,917! That's more than DOUBLE what we raised in 2024.
