We raised over $475,000 for the kids at CHKD in 2024!!!
This wouldn't have been possible without the amazing actions of our crewmembers and the incredible support of the community.
In 2024, we sold nearly 7,500 Blizzards on Miracle Treat Day, Dipped over 7,750 cones on Free Cone Day, received over 800,000 individual donations from fans, and our staff donated over $40,000 with payroll deductions with our match.
All in all, 2024 was a GREAT year and on the way to reaching our goal of $5,000,000 for kids at CHKD by 2030.

This year's Miracle Treat Day was HUGE success! We started the day with an unexpected surprise, a $1 match for every Blizzard sold by Humble Hearts Foundation. We sold over 8,000 Blizzards and collected nearly $1,823 in spare change donations. Total donations for the kids at CHKD were $17,917! That's more than DOUBLE what we raised in 2024.
What an amazing day! A HUGE THANK YOU to Humble Hearts Foundation for helping us smash our previous record of $12,444 in 2023. Another big thanks to corporate partners that turned out in a big way. USAA with 140 Blizzards, Damuth Trane with 275 Blizzards, and GEICO with 900 Blizzards! Thank you all for treating your teams and the kids at CHKD.
Every year we mark the beginning of Spring by offering all customers a Free Small Cone at Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen locations.
We also invite DQ® fans to donate $1 to the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters and return the favor with their favorite dip flavor!
In 2024, Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen served over 27,000 cones and raised over $10,000 for the kids at CHKD!
